Our camping site lays along side of Lake Rådasjon and it has a beautiful childfriendly sandy beach. It is a wonderful place where you can enjoy Swedish nature as well as see the elks and beavers.

With the Klarälven river at walking distance and the many forest surroundings, the camping you can not only relax but also take part in challenges and activities. The fishing is terrific here for salmon, pike and trout and many other kind of fishes. If you fish with a fly, a lure or a rod, you will always catch something.

Because of the central location at the Värmland region it is ideal for making day trips. In the summer months there are a lot of folklore festivals and summer feasts with traditional music and dancing in the neighbourhood. Here you can enjoy the rich culture and the atmosphere of the early day.

During summertime we will have kolbullekväll at the campsite on friday nights (5x) organised by the local people of Råda. Traditionally they’ll grill home-made elk sausages and pancakes on a open fire. The evening will be accompanied by live music. Only 500 metres from the camping you can to do your shopping at Råda. If you like to eat out there are 2 restaurants with very good food.[8 euros for extensive lunch] In both the nearby Swedish city of Hagfors and also in Munkfors and Sunne you can find Tourist Information, restaurants, museums, swimming pool, cinema and shops.

Campsite-area The campsite is approximately 10 hectares large. You can come with a tent, caravan or camper: there are always lovely places to find for you. At the moment we have 100 lots of a minimum 100sq. metres a site, 65 lots with power. For guests with a small tent we have special hikers sites. In the evening you can fry your fresh caught fish at the fire places. You can tell your tales of the day around the campfire in the evenings.

Stuga We have lovely cabins for 2, 4, or 6 persons. The 2 persons cabins have a comfortable bed-sofas well as a table and chairs. You can enjoy the beautiful scenery over the lake straight from your own veranda. The 4- and 6-person cabins all have a fridge, hot plates, pots and crockery, there is also linen for hire. 2-persons Stuga 4-persons Stuga 6-persons Stuga

New Project 2006 This is a project which will start in 2006.The high trees and beautiful surroundings have inspired us to think about different ways of camping and we have come up with some unexpected overnight possibilities. Art and nature are a very good combination.

The service-building The service-building has a reception and a small kiosk where you can buy the forgotten shopping, also fishing accessories, local souvenirs, ice cream, a cup of coffee or tea, small snacks and fresh baked buns (we bake fresh buns every morning on order). We do have an inside and outside hikerskitchen and if you like to sit down to eat, you can use the terrace, the picnic tables, or the community room. There you can find also games, books, magazines and information of the district.

Arrangements After a tiring day it is good to make use of our saunas. While you rest you can do your washing in the washing machine. We have 2 washer-dryers. It is normal for us that the showers and toilets are clean. For handicapped people we have a special shower/ toilet. Near the Office there is a minigolf and table tennis.
